Dr. Robert F. Childs, DDS

For over 30 years, Dr. Childs has been practicing his advanced, pain-free brand of family and aesthetic dentistry in Orange County, CA.

A true OC "local", Dr. Childs is a graduate of Marina High School in Huntington Beach, as well as a UCI Magna Cum Laude. He received his dental degree from prestigious UCLA, graduating as a regent's scholar. He is also a long-time member of the American Dental Association (ADA).

In his personal life, Dr. Childs "walks the talk," embodying the same healthy lifestyle he encourages in all his patients. A vegan and avid runner, Dr. Childs has completed seven marathons and still participates in the annual Mt. Baldy Run To The Top race, each year.

Married for over 33 years, Dr. Childs and his wife have raised three children in Fountain Valley and are very proud first-time grandparents.

Kerry, Registered Dental Hygienist

A long-time hygienist for Dr. Childs, Kerry is simply the best! She listens very carefully to any sensitivities or concerns you may have, and happily adjusts her cleaning regime to best suit your needs. She prides herself on performing gentle but thorough teeth cleanings and always goes the extra mile to educate her patients about their role in mouth care.

A Southern California girl, Kerry earned her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from USC. She and her husband live just down the street from the office, with their three young kids. Endlessly active in her free time, Kerry loves skin diving, tennis and softball (just to name a few!)

Connie, Registered Dental Assistant

Connie is a patient favorite around the office. Always there with a friendly smile and cheerful "hello," Connie's nurturing personality helps you feel instantly relaxed. An expert in pediatrics, as well as general dentistry, Connie is especially popular with our young patients!

With dental-industry experience spanning over 30 years, Connie works seamlessly with Dr. Childs to provide excellent patient care.

Connie and her husband have lived in Huntington Beach for over 25 years and are the proud parents of two adult children.

Cherise, Front Office Manager

Cherise launched her dental career as an outstanding, young Dental Assisting Intern at our office. For three years she exceeded every expectation, adding her personal touch of "Southern charm" to the atmosphere. We were sad to see her leave, two years ago, when she returned to Dallas, Texas for an opportunity to perfect her business skills.

But now... she's back! When we learned Cherise had returned to California, we were thrilled to re-hire her to our staff as Front Office Manager. She's ready and available to assist you with financial arrangements, appointment changes, or anything else you need -- before, during, and after your visit.

Jennifer, Dental Assistant

Say "aloha" to Jennifer, the newest member of our team who recently moved to California from sunny Hawaii. In her time with us, Jennifer has proven to be a highly skilled Dental Assistant -- and now we don't know what we ever did without her!

With over nine years' experience in the dental profession, we are thrilled that she has relocated to Southern California, and so are our patients!

Suellen, Practice Administrator

As Practice Administrator, Sue makes sure everything at the office runs smoothly. She is often behind the scenes organizing, facilitating and generally filling in when things need to get done. But you might also catch her at the front desk.

From setting appointments, to answering complex insurance questions -- or even just greeting you at the door with a warm "hello" -- Suellen is the consummate professional and a knowledgeable resource for all our patients. Just ask!
